Realy, my first suspicion about those pictures was the windows. they initially looked like a screen. however i didn't take the time to look at multiple angles to line up the image in the windows, because really, focusing on this is a waste... and then this picture comes along showing i was right and it would have been a waste anyway.
There's something off about the windows. It doesn't look like a reflection so much to me.
It appears the set design went as far as having "outdoor" scenery graphics imposed on the panes. So the people at home see nothing but the WH lawn and sunny skies.
EDIT: After another glance... Are they screens or monitors? The room is so dark, they seem backlit.
It does look backlit to me. It looks like two lightboxes that someone stuck a printed film of of the White House lawn? over, but now that you mentioned it, they could be monitors. Definitely looks backlit either way. Also, check out the cameramen, they all have the same lenses, which is so flipping impossible because all photographers have gear they prefer, there is no way every single one has a matching lens.
It wasn't. Even if it was dressed it differently, the auditorium stage is large and the audience seating is very large. You can see they are in a small sitting area in the stager photo. They are also sitting in what look like old airplane seats, not the seats in the auditorium.

Where is this supposed to be? Those windows look like printed plastic film, like the stained glass kind you would see at a dollar store.

At an angle it's a two dimensional image (a painting), of leaves.
The event was at the South Court Auditorium of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.
Trump held press conferences there too..
Trump usually went with a navy curtain with a bunch of flags as his background

It looked so fake to me I didn’t even bother looking into it. What surprises me is that this picture of the set exists.
