Also don't we want mercy and justice as our ideals? As they have been for thousands of years? Do we want our good guys to reject Judeo-Christians ideas for what? Genghis Khan's ideals? Scandinavian paganism?

I mean the Superhero was born with the ideals of Truth, Justice and The American Way.

I didn't go through Milly

Trump is being a little cute here. We know he didn't go through Milley just every other president has not gone through a Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff because it's prohibited by law

The CJCS is strictly and advisory position and is forbidden by law to exercise command.....that is he is outside the chain of command. https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/10/152

The Chairman, while so serving, holds the grade of general, in the case of the Navy, admiral, or, in the case of an officer of the Space Force, the equivalent grade, and outranks all other officers of the armed forces. However, he may not exercise military command over the Joint Chiefs of Staff or any of the armed forces.

Durham started looking at this on May 13, 2019 before he became a special counsel.

Why wait if he had the goods. It makes no sense. Especially after November 2020.

A special counsel is not an independent counsel. They report to the Attorney General.

He admits he's not president.

You're getting downvoted, but that is what says throughout the interview. Over and Over

These are all quotes

We had everything so good.....But this is the saddest time for our country, and I think the most embarrassing time for our country.

the worst, I think, was that whole the way they withdrew from Afghanistan......he way they withdrew from Afghanistan

they are renegotiating from weakness.

We would have had a deal with Iran in one week, after the election, ..... Instead, this deal they’re talking about now is a disaster for our country.....I could say, “Do this, do that.” They’re not going to do it.

So, it’s easy for me to say you have to get strong with China, ........ But they’re not going to be doing it.

they’re going to get three more years.

what they’re doing to our country,

I could give you a list of things......but they’re not going to do them.

There's an interesting bit about the 2020 election

But they were never given a mandate in this election. Because even if you looked at it where they won, they didn’t, they lost by a lot. But if you look at the number, it was so close......... ....If somebody won an election by 40 points, maybe could do whatever you want. But this was a thing that they just snuck over the line.

and then he seems to correct himself. This is wierd

Look, they lost the election.

He then lists a bunch current news and asks why would they want this. He says they about 8x. At no point does he say is in charge in any way.

He mentions our military is weaker

Right now, Putin no longer respects our country. That’s why they’re doing what they’re doing.

Mr. Patel: He’s doing the same in Ukraine, over in Russia.

President Trump: These things would never have happened had I been President…

Mr. Patel: Would you call Putin today and say, “This just can’t happen.”

President Trump: If I were president, I’d call him. I wouldn’t call him if I’m not President, because it wouldn’t be appropriate.

That seems pretty definitive there. He also said Afghanistan would have gone differently.

More quotes

President Trump: You can’t let it happen, and I think Biden is letting it happen.

And I’ve said a lot during this interview, I can say what to do, but they’re not going to do it.

you get the point...

Some of the first well designed clinical studies on Ivermectin are going to be coming out soon. One with over a 1,000, people and one with about 1,200 people.

The paper that kicked off the Ivermectin publicity was basically done in a petri dish. That's the very beginning of the road of medical studies. For one, things that might kill the virus in a petri dish might act different in the human body. For two, lots of things can kill cell in a petri dish, like battery acid are things you don't want in your body.

Once you have successful lab results you then need to have through multiple stages Phase 0, 1 and then Phase II and finally Stage III.

So have Stage III randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind trial coming out on Ivermectin. Placebo controlled means some patients get Ivermectin and others get nothing. This is so you can compare taking the drug to doing nothing to see if there's significant different. A randomized double-blind study means neither the patient or the patient's doctor know if they are getting the drug or the placebo and who gets the drug is up to chance.

So we will soon have some solid data on Ivermectin.

There's an interesting theory about some of the results of previous studies in countries with bad water supplies. Ivermectin is used to treat parasites like worms. The drug now used with very sick Covid patients is corticosteriods. The theory is that the steriods might make the parasites more infectious and in that case Ivermectin would help. But in the US and other developed countries, parasitic worms are not much of an issue.

These might be published in the next couple of months.

So what did Flynn lie about is an easy question.

The much more interesting question is if as Flynn swore to, he knew he was lying AND he knew lying to the FBI was crime, then why did he do it?

The answer to that is quite interesting. And has to do with how he stayed out of jail.

1
battleofbrooklyn1976 1 point ago +1 / -0

Of course I can state what the lie was. You don't need to be on the left to heard what the lie was. The lie was clearly stated in General Flynn's guilty plea that he signed under penalty of perjury and every news report about his guilty pleas.

Flynn's plea bargain document was released publicly. When they take your case to a grand jury, they get an indictment. But if you plead guilty, they put out a "Statement of Offense." It includes Flynn admitted under oath to the crimes

Lie #1 FLynn lied about talking about sanctions with Russian ambassador

Mr. Flynn admitted to lying to the FBI about his request on or about December 29, 2016 to the Russian Ambassador that Russia refrain from escalating the situation in response to the sanctions imposed by the United States against Russia, and the Russian Ambassador telling Mr. Flynn that Russia decided to moderate its response to the sanctions.

Lie #2 He lied about telling the Russians how to vote at the UN

In addition, Mr. Flynn admitted to making false statements to the FBI about his request on or about December 22, 2016 to the Russian Ambassador that Russia vote against or delay Egypt's resolution to the U.N. Security Council, that the Russian Ambassador never described to Mr. Flynn Russia's response to his request, that Mr. Flynn did not request certain countries to take a particular position on the resolution, and that Mr. Flynn only asked the countries for their respective positions on the vote.

Lie #3 He also admitted lying on his FARA forms, but this charge was dropped as part of his plea deal.

Flynn's statement of offense https://www.justice.gov/archives/sco/file/1015126/download

Flynn swore under oath that these facts were true and he was "in fact guilty."

The preceding statement is a summary, made for the purpose of providing the Court with a factual basis for my guilty plea to the charge against me. It does not include all of the facts known to me regarding this offense. I make this statement knowingly and voluntarily and because I am, in fact, guilty of the crime charged. No threats have been made to me nor am I under the influence of anything that could impede my ability to understand this Statement of the Offense fully. I have read every word of this Statement of the Offense, or have had it read to me. Pursuant to Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 11, after consulting with my attorneys, I agree and stipulate to this Statement of the Offense, and declare under penalty of perjury that it is true and correct.

https://www.justice.gov/archives/sco/file/1015126/download

When he went to court to be sentenced a year later. The judge asked him AGAIN if he knew he was committing a crime, if he had any problems with his lawyers, or if he had any problems with how he was treated by the FBI and again he swore UNDER OATH, he was in fact guilty and was treated well.

THE COURT: At the time of your January 24th, 2017 interview with the FBI, were you not aware that lying to FBI investigators was a federal crime? THE DEFENDANT: I was not -- I was aware. THE COURT: You were aware? THE DEFENDANT: Yeah......

....

THE COURT: Do you wish to challenge the circumstances on which you were interviewed by the FBI? THE DEFENDANT: No, Your Honor.......

....

THE COURT: All right. Are you satisfied with the services provided by your attorneys? THE DEFENDANT: I am.

So if you were paying attention, it's clear what the lies were and that he swore under oath twice he was guilty of these crimes.

No they didn't. They didn't chain up kids and use them as models.

Those pictures are disturbing because they reflect the horror of artist's young life. She came up during the time Yugoslavia was breaking up and then it went through a series of horrific nationalistic wars that involved ethnic cleansing and Genocide.

The artist is Serbian her art reflects the facts that Serbs were responsible for the Bosnian genocide including the Srebrenica massacre. The images are disturbing because it's asking the audience How could you let this happen?

I just started to read this. Seems like she is trying to rewrite history.

  1. Who Fired General Michael Flynn?

The answer is simple. Trump fired Flynn. Pence had no authority to do so.

Trump tweeted about this months after it happened.

"I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI"

She wonders how Pence knew about Flynn phone call.

Nobody has bothered to ask Pence exactly how he was informed about Flynn’s private conversations

I know the answer to that. It was big news. It came out on Jan 12 Jan. 12 — The Washington Post reports that Flynn and Kislyak spoke on Dec. 29, the day that the U.S. announced new sanctions on Russia in response to the cyberattacks during the 2016 presidential election.

This is what caused Pence to speak to Flynn. On Jan 15 Flynn was interviewed on CBS and was questioned about Flynn's phone call.

MIKE PENCE: I talked to General Flynn about that conversation ......It was strictly coincidental that they had a conversation. They did not discuss anything having to do with the United States’ decision to expel diplomats or impose censure against Russia.

So she got the timeline wrong. Nobody had to ask about how Pence was informed about Flynn's private conversations. We know this. Flynn spoke to Pence after the phone call came out in the news.

The idea that a mere FBI agent pushed Pence to fire Flynn is silly. Nobody at the FBI has influence over White House decisions. And we know it was a senior DOJ official who told the White House Flynn lied to the FBI. And Trump admitted he knew Flynn lied to the FBI which is a crime. A crime Flynn plead guilty to.

This is like the easier part of the Flynn affair to understand.

In the US you pay the IRS.

Q4. Will I recognize a gain or loss when I sell my virtual currency for real currency?

A4. Yes. When you sell virtual currency, you must recognize any capital gain or loss on the sale, subject to any limitations on the deductibility of capital losses. For more information on capital assets, capital gains, and capital losses, see Publication 544, Sales and Other Dispositions of Assets.

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/frequently-asked-questions-on-virtual-currency-transactions

And yes, prisons are funded from taxes.

Is that really your argument?

First off, this site is not doing first hand reporting. They just repackage news they found elsewhere.

Secondly, NONE of the sources they site has the FBI mentioning anything at all about Omar, let alone "confirming" money transferred to her bank account.

So it's clear this site just made that up. It's obvious.

Why do we know this is obvious. Because if they FBI came out and said that we wouldn't have to wait ten days to hear about it, it would giant headlines everywhere.

And yes Fox would run stories on this for weeks.

This university did not do a phase III trial. They just did a lab study. That's the very beginning of the journey.

You can say something kills cancer cells in a petri dish, but is that a good drug? hydrocholoric acid will also kill cancer cells in a petri dish, but I don't want to swallow it.

A phase III trial is conducted in humans and is a big, big deal. A lot of work has to be done before you even begin a phase IIi trial. You need a lot of successful

Pre-clinical (or laboratory) studies Clinical trials are done only after pre-clinical findings suggest that the new drug or treatment is likely to be safe and will work in people.

https://www.cancer.org/treatment/treatments-and-side-effects/clinical-trials/what-you-need-to-know/phases-of-clinical-trials.html

Pre-clinical studies, also called laboratory studies - tests in a lab or on mice or something like that.

The investigational new drug application Before a clinical trial can be started, the research must be approved. What is the drug, its risks, what is the research expected to do etc.

Phase 0 clinical trials: Exploring if and how a new drug may work.
Low doses in just a few people. This drug is meant to fight tumors....does it actually get to the tumor.

Each of the following involve more and more people and there's a lot more info at the link.

Phase I clinical trials: Is the treatment safe?

Phase II clinical trials: Does the treatment work?

Phase III clinical trials: Is it better than what’s already available?
