I wish I had your Outlook. Bit, I just can't get there. The half of my family that's "vaxxed" is the Sam whale of the family that supports Buyden/Harris and/or freely went to get jabbed even after all the info and research I showed them. And I was ostracized for being a Trump supporter and anti-COVID vax. So, they're on their own now. I have more important things to concern myself with, like preparing for the impending financial collapse.
Both my inlaws and parents are fully vaxxed. Eff them. We tried to warn them. My oldest is vaxxed and she mocks me, as she's a know-it-all like her mother, but I will move heaven and earth to help her when she finally wakes up. Thankfully my other two kids are not jabbed. Most of my friends are not vaxxed, but some are. I think they regret it but will never say.
Was with some parents last weekend and one, a lawyer, who had never received a flu or shingles vax told us she got the jab. I asked why. Her response: "I dunno, I thought it seemed like a good idea. You know, for the greater good." I lost every bit of respect for this otherwise nice lady.
She's like her mother. She is rarely rude to me and when she has been, it's always blown back in her face. She lied to me once and I took back the 10k I was giving her to put towards a car. She hasn't lied to me since. It's the vax and politics topics where she thinks she knows what she is talking about.
Yeah both of my very conservative parents that are eighty are double vaxed and I fear they won't make it through the winter. I tried repeatedly to at least get them to wait and see how early adopters did with the vax but their doctor said they should get it and despite my dad's cynicism about everything; especially the government; he still has trust in the medical field. My mother is currently suffering from a rare and serious auto-immune disease several months after taking the second jab. I have my suspicions and I am sure that my dad does as well. I pray they won't take a booster but I am sure that their doctor will mindlessly encourage the to do so.
My entire family is vaxxed and I of course would stand for them. They and I disagree but there's nothing but love between us.

Pretty amazing.
Your daughter mocks you?

I spend most of my time on my knees, so I won’t be standing for anyone unless I’m leaning forward over a desk.
