I read "apparent suicide" the first time, too... we have some heavy Arkancide anticipation bias after so very many suspicious deaths.

The word apparent before accident leads the brain to think suspicious. Suspicious is either murder or suicide ..saying apparent accident makes you wonder ..did he fall down the steps onto a knife ?
