I think they're talking about when TD was still on reddit. Reddit had banned the subreddit r/pizzagate and thus r/the_donald created a rule banning pizzagate research to prevent Reddit from banning their entire subreddit as well.
That worked out well, didn’t it?
Well, it was inevitable that they would get banned. r/the_donald banning PG research probably bought them another 2 years (long enough for doggos to write thedonald.win and the exact same software that we're communicating on GAW with). In case you didn't realize all of the .win sites use custom code written by a r/the_donald mod (doggos).
You are of course correct. Sometimes I get a little bit pissy when pedo stuff gets buried.
It’s a double edged sword that way isn’t it? It’s so horrifying and disgusting and dark, but the light MUST get shined down onto it to expose it and make the people aware…
Correct.
Over time, the span of the research topics here were censored over at TD on reddit.
...and the list goes on and on.
I remember when they banned PG discussion, but don't remember any of the other points you mentioned. Interesting.
They banned spirit cooking discourse shortly after PG. Then, appx six weeks later the original mod team got shitcanned and that's when you started seeing leftist themes being pushed at TD.
"Updoot for muh based tranny-pedes frens!" and other crap started being pushed at that time. They also non officially were propping up asshats that would later bite the research communities on the ass: Tim Pool, Jack Posobiec, AJ, Gorka, et al.
Shortly after Q began posting TD gatekeeped via silent temp bans and content removal. After their desired narrative of Q = Bad was artificially driven via bot/mod/shill comments & posts that's when TD just axed anything Q research related and openly began attacking the movement.
That's roughly the timeline of how the censorship and mod changes went down according to my memory. By Spring of 2018 I completely left reddit for voat due to the censorship.
EDIT: Forgot to mention the FF discussion censorship. After David Hogg became a meme, TD followed suit with reddit admins and banned any FF, Parkland, David Hogg content. Subsequently, it was no longer "cool" to discuss a litany of previous habbenings: Las Vegas, Pulse Night Club, Sandy Hook, etc.
Wow. Thanks for that rundown.
"We need unity against the evil cabal!"
Someone brings attention to based trans people who are on our side
"No, not THAT unity".
Way to stick with it. kek

Oh gotcha! I was on voat back in those days and didn’t get to experience the meme magic of the original TD. Just grateful we’re all still rocking it and growing steadily
