Perhaps using WW2 as a reference can help navigate our current WW, the War of All Wars. During WW2 when was it possible for the "justice" phase to begin? Did prosecutions, including the famous military tribunals called the Nuremberg Trials begin before the Nazis capitol, Berlin, was captured and the war ended?
Consider using the desire for justice as motivation to achieve victory. Stay FOCUSED on winning the skirmishes and battles that lead to victory and make justice a possibility.
However, try to manage expectations to avoid being poisoned by disappointment and anger. Ultimately, human justice is always imperfect. Fortunately Christians take solace in knowing that eventually everyone will be judged fairly by God. NCSWIC.
