Wow I never realized how cold the south pole gets. Anybody know why the avg temp in antartica is so much colder than the north pole? South pole vs north pole avg winter temp = -76F vs -40F. Average summer temp is -40F vs +32F. What the fuck? Shouldn't they be similar since they each get the same amount of sun?
Also note that a 1.2 degree increase in temperature isn’t going to move the needle for 80 percent of the ice in Antarctica. All this stalk of rising sea level is BS.
Hoping this is a sign that’s it’s going to get cold as shit up here this winter and chase off all the Californians that are trying to take over the northern U.S….would be fine with getting back to -30° for a few months…

The earth's rotation is tilted and most solar radiation is reflected by the north pole if I remember correctly.
