I don't want Trump to run in 2024, we need him now!

True. Unless he strategically holds off on being inaugurated until Jan. 20, 2023. Then he can run again in 2024 and end up serving 10 years as president!

(At least this is the case when a VP takes over for a prez who can no longer serve out the rest of his term; it could be different in a case like this, where a prez will be taking over for a criminal senator who assumed the presidency via treasonous coup)
