Sometimes when we lose everything that we think is important, we discover we possess the most important thing in the world. Jesus said "I will never leave you nor forsake you." If we call on the name of the Lord He will answer. God created you, loves you, knows you inside and out and is on call 24/7. Prayer is not an afterthought...it is the most powerful tool we possess. I can't imagine what you are facing but the US seems to be headed down the same road. The most important question you can ever know is "Do I know Jesus as my Lord and Savior" God bless you and may you find the "peace that passes understanding."
i wasn't religious until i discovered q. if it wasn't for my newfound faith in jesus i would have thrown the towel in a long time ago. now i feel obliged to uplift as many as i can, no matter how hard it is. people look at me like im crazy but i know im right. we'll all be proven to be on the right side of history soon enough
Since all this started I have been spontaneously praying every single day. Before that I never prayed, even though I believed (I didn't really understand what prayer was for).
This whole process is changing every one of us in ways we never imagined. Try not to focus on the dark, look to the things that bring light into your heart.
same thing friend. i went to church maybe 5 times in the last 20 years. now i go every sunday, have joined bible study, and am in the RCIA to become a baptized catholic. not that i have faith in the pope, my faith is in god, but anyways....
i see exactly where you're coming from and i'm in the same boat as you. q brought me to god, and god brought me here to this point in time for a reason. stay alive, dont throw in the towel. the world will need good people like you when the serpent is beheaded.
You're not the only one. I was raised religious and did what my parents expected but I never really believed in any of it. Now, I feel faith somewhere in me. Something in me is telling me, this ISNT right. I don't really know how to explain it (and I don't think I could convince myself even 10 years ago) except I now know and nobody can tell me otherwise.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him , and he will straighten thy path. Proverbs 3

Energy flows where focus goes.

If the only thing we could do in this world is to pray....we'd be doing the one thing that matters the most
