Husband works for company that has DOD contracts so jab being enforced. Our Dr. refused his medical exemption out of hand saying “our age, 67, 69 make us extremely high risk and we should have had it months ago”. We are being given one more chance to convince her that the jab is dangerous, we don’t need it, we will be fine. Anyone have some strong bullet points to fire at her? She is not one to read articles, listen to long arguments or “the CDC is fudging numbers”. (She is giving us a “video chat” so got to make strong points in limited time!) Thank you to anyone who replies. You are an actual LIFESAVER!🙏❤️

I don't know the answer. I would imagine, but I don't know. But why should you have to even bother getting such an exemption, when you have the inalienable right to 'own' your own body? I don't know. I understand it's a tough situation but believe that ultimately, these types of things have to be fought on constitutional grounds.
We believe we own our own bodies but Biden has decided that Do D contractors do not enjoy that right. ANY company with ANY contracts with The Government must have ALL employees, contractors, sub-contractors, etc. vaxxed. My husband’s company oversees Govt DoD contracts so in turn he must be vaxxed to be an employee of the Company/Contractor.
You don't seem to be understanding what I am saying. It really doesn't matter what biden thinks or decides. biden isn't the law. biden doesn't even get to MAKE the laws. Now do you understand? You are being asked to comply to someone's wishes. Now, you can do that if you want. Or you can refuse and you can refuse based on legal grounds. biden, nor the dod, has/have no legal grounds to require you take the vaxx. That is what you must understand. It is all smoke and mirrors. They will huff, they will puff, they will pontificate and threaten. But they have NO LEGAL GROUNDS on which to require you do something. If you decide to do it, that's your decision, but it's entirely your decision. You might say, Well, he'll lose his job if he doesn't get it. Maybe. Or, he could fight it on LEGAL grounds. Always use the law. They do not have the law on their side. There is no "you must take the covid vaccine" law. It doesn't exist. This is something they 'want,' not something that is legally required. It's up to you if you're going to fight or not. Of course, it would help if there were others that, like him, don't want to take it. Strength in numbers. And I don't mean to imply it will necessarily be easy. But do you think winning the American Revolution was easy for our forefathers? THIS, this time in history is OUR revolution, OUR time to take a stand, OUR generation's time to fight. If you don't, if you capitulate, get ready to spend the rest of your years bending over.
I agree with every word you have written. I will never be pushed around by a bumbling tyrant for ANY reason. You are 100% correct. That doesn’t save my husband’s job and our income. I thank you for your encouragement and your eloquent reply. I wish we had more time, effort and money to truly fight for our right to be free from this unlawful intrusion into our lives to be free to make our own decisions based on our Constitution but unfortunately we don’t have $, time or strength in numbers. Too many others have already bent the knee. My husband is standing alone in this. We will not give in. We will fight as much and as long as we can. Thank you for your words of encouragement and God bless you!
This may be helpful. This is info from 20-guage. She posts this regularly for just such instances. Hope it helps you. And God bless you both as well. I know you're in for the fight of your life. Don't weary!

That's all fine and well Gobby, and I agree 100% but employers won't fight this (mine disagrees with the mandates and believes they're illegal) and are caving to cover their butts. In turn, the employees, to keep roofs over their heads, either have to follow the new company policy - get the jab or get an accommodation - or get fired. Now, if someone wants to pay my bills and legal fees, I am more than happy to jump into the fray on this.
In the meantime, I do what I can in my world to educate others to what is going on, attend city/county/state meetings to express my thoughts on local issues and the pressure on to make changes.
Well, it's up to the individual, of course. I personally would leave any company that would fire me over such a major and personal, choice.
