Marxist FAKE pope and his counterfeit church with his satanic idolatry. (And YES, I’m Catholic, he’s not.)

Yes, because you understand it incorrectly.
There is no idolatry. And you shouldn’t only pray to the Father - you should pray to Jesus, and to the Holy Spirit, as well. They are One God.
Well what did I get wrong? You pray to saints and have all those cards with the pictures on em right? And you pray to Mary etc? Right? Yea and I'm non trinitarian. That is right out of Roman influence. Jesus prayed directly to the Father as did all the other prophets before him. Not gonna change that tune lol
There is a cloud of witnesses in heaven, who are aware of the happenings on earth.
You would ask your friend to pray for you.
We don’t pray to saints (we don’t ask them to use any power for us because only God has power). We ask them to pray for us. Those of us that do that, anyway. It’s not required and is totally optional.
Cards with pictures, holy cards. Let’s think about that one first. Yes, Catholics do have pictures of saints on cards. (We’re even lucky enough to have a few with actual photographs, with photography only being around less than the last 2 centuries.) Do you have photographs of anyone in your home? Your wallet? Maybe your mother’s image is even in your phone? How about friends? Do you have any photographs of anyone who’s no longer alive? Maybe a parent or uncle, a sibling, a friend? You love them just the same, right? So you keep photographs of people you love, right? Holy cards are the same thing: Saints are our Friends in Heaven, Our Mother, Christ, the Holy Ghost. All on holy cards.
That's not the same thing. I don't hold onto my moms picture and pray to it. I don't see how that is not idolatry. You pray to anything other than the Father what else is it?
We don’t pray to holy cards or statues though. That would be disgusting idolatry. We look at the image bc it reminds us of a saint or Christ, like you would look at a pic of your mom. I don’t think you worship a picture of her. Yes, we do talk to the saints, and yes, you could call that prayer, (Prayer isn’t strictly worship) asking them to intercede for us and join us in asking God in our petitions. If you have a loved one you believe to be in heaven, and if you’re having a problem, would it not be ok to ask your loved one for a favor in addition to asking God? Let’s say my father is passed. In addition to my prayers to God Himself, I might ask my dad to pray for me, too. People in heaven are saints, and they’re our friends. They’ve passed the test and want o help us, more than anything, to get to heaven. And to be clear, God and God alone is to be worshipped, called Latria. We give reverence to Mary, not worship. This is called hyperdulia; and to the saints the reverence given is dulia. Only God is to be worshipped and this is solid Church teaching. I hope this helps.
The trinity came out in 386 AD. There is no scriptural basis for it.
The Son can not be the Father. My son isn't me and I not Him. We are one in purpose only.
Christ always did the Father's will. How hard would that be if he was himself. That stuff just doesn't hold water and you can't take what you don't understand on faith. Faith or believing requires truth.
Down votes don't change truth Amy more than a kings scissors stopped God's word.
Lol!!!
The Trinity is just a word to describe a concept that Christ taught, the He is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, and the Father is God.
The Trinity goes all the way back to the first pagan religions. Every single pagan religion has a trinity, including the Protestants who traded Mary for the "Holy Ghost" which is just God's spirit.
True Christianity WILL be a trinity one day after the resurrection, but until then, it's just God and the Son. PERIOD.
EDIT: I said "True Christianity", but what I meant to say was that one day the God Family will be three people. God, Jesus and his Bride which is us. It will be God the Father, The Son and the Son's Wife since we will be married into the God family.
You don’t understand what the Trinity is: The Son is NOT the Father. The Father is NOT the Son. Neither is the Holy Ghost. There are three distinct Persons in the Triune God, they all make up God but they are all distinct separate. Our human minds cannot fully grasp it but it doesn’t make it un-true. His infinite ways are not our finite ways. Of course we take things we don’t understand on Faith; that’s precisely what Faith is :)
