Funny you should mention it. My wife and I just watched all three movies, again. Yes, they could have been better, but they are still pretty good red pills in my opinion. Like her work, you just gotta get through through them and separate the wheat so to speak. It's there, but hard for the young of today to absorb??
I'm replying to everyone here. I think they really missed the boat with those movies. The first one was okay but missed core concepts. Maybe AS and 1984 is too deep for TV/Movie, but let's face it, those platforms are mostly used to push DS propaganda brainwashing. Also I think Rand was trying to do a movie or mini series and their was a dispute on the rights of the material, "and just like that...". Amazing how it all works.
Moral of the story: trust no one and never sign your rights away, even partially or in shared interest. I've seen way too many inventions go this route. DS/BigBiz plants assets in small business communities to destroy competition by offering to be the money partner... and that is usually how the story ends (insert drama).
It is literally Atlas Shrugged (the book).
Side note: I wished they did a better job with the movies because those could have been the best red pills ever.
