Dont know if I agree with the headline here.. almost 100% that they were the ones attacking fans. Who were not so inclined to put up with their shit.

And a bit of searching says they apparently tried to arrest someone for 'racial abuse', after the Hungarians mocked the English team for kneeling.

The violence began after officers entered the away stand to make an arrest. The Metropolitan Police said as they made the arrest - over alleged racist comments towards a steward - "minor disorder broke out involving other spectators".
