Do you think this arrest would bring unity? I tend to think it would because if this were to really happen, liberal minds would dissolve as they wouldn't know how to admit that for the first time in a long time, left and right actually could agree on something. Their first reaction would be to blame the right for voting for him, but to see the right equally as betrayed would help crack up the icy wall that divides the country. Maybe this would help advance the start of abolishing of the two party system?
I absolutely think this would bring unity, at least for people who remember his presidency. There was a huge opposition to Bush from the left. It was part of pop culture. A lot of people were woke up when they went down the 9/11 rabbit hole. People on both sides of the aisle.
Personally I think Bush going down would bring more unity than pretty much any other. There are still too many Obama fan boys out there for it to be him. If it’s Killary or Bill, people will suspect Trump was seeking revenge somehow. I don’t think enough people know of Pedesta for it to really hit home for most. But Bush? It would be kind of perfect.
That’s a great point. I’ll add that after 911 we were unified.there was a sense of being kind bc we were all so grieved. Also, we came to dislike W as much as they did so we won’t be pissed if they grab him and we would probably agree with each other on that arrest. Then when O goes down they will hopefully do the same.
That would be epic, but there are no signs that this is even close to happening.
The only sign maybe those envelopes at daddy’s funeral.
