That is some gorgeous country. It looks about like where I live. Rolling hills, beautiful shade trees and bushes and green grass. Just like home. Yep! I see the wink of a rainbow in the background; Great Photo.
Genesis 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.
We've driven thru the area on the way from Paris to Draguignan and then again on another trip from Parma thru Mt. Blanc on the way to Normandy.
We love your beautiful country! C'est Magnifique!
But we love your warm countrymen who always make us feel welcome even more! And I'm embarrassed to say know more about American history than most Americans.
I'm so glad you had this wonderful moment with God and His rainbow! We saw a full rainbow last week from end to end and I felt it was a Godwink also! We are keeping the faith on the Texas coast as well.
Blessings to your family and praying for your country. 🙏
(Everytime I see your name, I think of Family Guy's Star Wars episode/movie where instead of Han saying "Don't get cocky" Peter on FG says "Don't get penisy." I'm sure yours is a French word, but I always think of that and have been too ashamed to mention.)
Penisse is a mix between « johnson » and « Panisse », a famous Berkeley restaurant whose name comes from a famous character in Marcel Pagnol Marius/Fanny/Cesar trilogy.
The idea was that to be openly politically incorrect to immediately drive pedantic people away, and also to bring this je-ne-sais-quoi of European-scent.🥳
i had a feeling it was france, having spent a fair bit of time travelling all over it but I didn't think this board had so many outside the US. Great pic and I am jealous. One day when this is all over we should have a big party and join our frens all across the world.
Fun fact of the day, this house which I plan to inhabit when I am finally pensioned is 20km away from a village which gave its name to the most popular grape used in white wine: Chardonnay.🥂
thats quite cool, i didnt spend much time in that exact area, i spent a fair amount of time north of that in strasbourg. heck i was in the strasbourg christmas market the night before the shooting a couple of years ago... think its was 2018/19? Beautiful country all over tbh, except i cant stand paris..... my favorite places to stay for work were strasbourg, angers, montpellier, really loved montpellier as a place to live, wasnt a fan of nice too much party / tourism and paris... is paris... that being said, there are so many villages all over france with great old houses / architecture, food, ppl. every place the globalists and refugees havent touched.

Thanks Lady Mary🤗
You're welcome and good morning.
…and a beautiful day to you and everyone around you, Lady🙏🏻
Thank you.
The rainbow is God's promise to never flood the entire earth again. Great photo.

That's really unusual to see a rainbow in that orientation, relative to the sun.
And, on a celestial note, don't forget tonight is the Hunter's Moon.
It's one of these or one of these icy cloud things. I can never work out which is which. I'd just say it's a sun dog because it sounds much nicer.
Hmmm… somebody naming himself LoneWulf and mentioning the Moon….🤓
Thanks for the space tip, I had only noticed that tomorrow occurs the Orionids meteor shower.
Are you begrudging me my one night a month out on the town? ;-)
I saw Lonewulf with a Chinese menu in his hand
Walking through the streets of SoHo in the rain
He was looking for the place called Lee Ho Fook's
Gonna get a big dish of beef chow mein...
That is beautiful! Is it in the US?
France, lower Burgundy, just 20km above Beaujolais and 10km from Solutré.

Ah! I gotcha. ;)
'Fanny' is a sweet movie with gorgeous scenery and music!

Gorgeous. Looks like my homecountry before they came up with this windmillshit.
Can't wait until all of the bird killing carcinogenic windmills are torn down!
If you look closely enough next time there will be one on the opposite side. Sometimes you can see them encircle the sun too
It’s a sun dog
I've noticed lately seeing small rainbow areas rather than the large arching!
Sun dogs, cool atmospheric effect.
