In 2018 a total of 52 house representatives didn't seek re-election. 18 democrats and 34 Republicans. Honestly we're going to have to see numbers in the triple digits before this feels like something substantial.

The Democrat House has roughly 222 members.

12 announcing retirement is just over 5%.
It's a good start, but I don't know if that's a big increase over a normal year.

This happens every midterm. Unless there's a mass exodus of Khabalists heading to GITMO, I don't really care. At least 6 of those seats will go to other Khabalists, probably more like 9. (R) or (D), doesn't matter.
