Cashless society.... think about the implications. ITS STILL FIAT
The most important aspect of FIAT for them is their ability to create the currency. They can't do that with BTC.
No its not. Its the fact you have to rely on a device that brings a technocratic society into power. And someone else WILL control the value. THINK
Since the 70's the central banking system has had control over the countries by being able to "print" money out of nothing an lending it out with interest attached.
That system is failing now. There is a reason they are pushing the CBDC, which is the technocratic version of the same system. That additionally gives them the power over people, since they can control your money by tracking what you buy and can limit what you are able to buy/sell - because it's all digitalized.
I understand the technocratic part to be your argument above to be this control over the individual. However the BTC does not give them as much power over the countries as the CBDC would, precisely because they cannot just print more currency.
Thank you! Im not alone. Im glad we are awake! However you are acknowledging it and still giving away your rights willingly. Do you have bitcoin? Dont let greed blind you. Dont advocate an evil system because you might be top dog in it
With Btc or any other crypto THEY control the system because you are dependent upon other people's computers to ever get anything for your crypto, they can not only define value but who gets to spend what where.
Not perfectly but a LOT easier for them than with physical currency(look at what they can do with social media bot-farms, crypto would only be a different kind of ones and zero's for them...), which still only has as much value as they assign it and they can physically make it but it it is still better than crypto of it has to physically exist and is tied to real resources with value.
The best system would be the barter system(which is actually still used by large resource entities every once in a while when they need/want to get something for something...which should be a testament to it's validity) but that isn't large scale practical so the closet thing to the barter system is physical currency tied to physical resources as the best compromise...
The only reason that the USD is used so extensively in the US is because the Federal Govt demands payment for taxes in it. What stops the Treasury/Federal Reserve from just forking Bitcoin into Fedcoin, with centrally controlled infinite supply, and the IRS demanding payment of taxes in it with the usual threat of liens, property confiscation and imprisonment to enforce it's usage? Nothing stops someone from forking the network and changing fundamental parts asides from adoption, it's why we have Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV, after all.
It's permissionless, anonymous when used properly... It's digital cash.
It's not mandated by government (Central Bank) decree, it's not fiat.
How do you buy vegetables and ammo with bitcoin when power is shut off?
How do you buy vegetables and ammo with gold? I tried at the store and they refused to take it.
Did they?
Got bigger problems in such a scenario, immediate problem is not being poor while the deep state prints more cuckbucks into their own pockets.
