Fren, we have entered the era where religion is fading away, and people are connecting directly to God through direct relationship.
Religion was only ever intended to bring us to the place where we can build the real and living relationship with the Divine. But each of us here stands on the shoulders of those that came before us. We have inherited a foundation that is greater than we know.
Christians today can have a much closer and more intimate relationship with Christ and God than they could one hundred or two hundred years ago.
While I affirm that Christ is the ultimate doorway through which all can be reunited perfectly with the Father, I also know that each religion, faith, and practice that is rooted in goodness and mobilized by "a good heart" is simply a variation on the primary theme of reuniting with the Creator.
In other words, they are brothers & sisters, not enemies and not competitors, if we could but understand.
