Excellent point. I dunno if prop masters are IATSE or other Union, but I heard it reported that it was a non/union sub that day. Ever hear of that happening?
Being a scab is really playing with fire. I've never heard of something like that happen but there are tons of non union shops. I have a lot of family in the industry and they do work insane hours and working conditions are not great, but they do get paid a shitload of money. However it is feast or famine.
If it’s a union job site, they’d never bring a non union person in last minute. If non union was brought in, it would be for a specialty position they couldn’t backfill.
Shot someone on set with a real gun and live ammo
Given IATSE was already set up to strike over working conditions, this may be the spark that begins the clean up of Hollywood.

When did this happen?
Yesterday
Yeah it was "an accident" despite props having ridiculous regulations.
Then someone uncovered that the person killed was a Russian spy or some shit idfk it's absurd.
'Accidently' killed the DP and injured another the director on the set.
The victim, has an interesting history as well...
Director of Photography or Cinematographer
