This is an oldie. He was going to be presenting some damaging info to someone about something the following week. I can't remember but hitting a tree while skiing was very suspicious.

The retired FBI agent is now calling for the authorities to dig up Bono's remains and open a homicide investigation. Gunderson's efforts have been backed by top forensics experts, who fear Nevada authorities were too quick to mark the tragedy as a skiing accident, and investigator Bob Fletcher, who has confessed he sent evidence of a 10-year study that linked top U.S. government officials to arms and weapons dealers to Bono less than a month before his death. Fletcher says, "He was going to make it his number one priority... There's no doubt in my mind Sony was murdered by someone who needed him silenced."

I never did buy the "skiing accident" story...because he was said to be an accomplished skier...and I also had understood he was working on something about an exposure.

He died after getting the royalties for music extended. So many songs and music were coming to an end. This little maneuver cost people billions in additional copyright fees. The DS moved to shape the narrative and profit from it. He was a loose end and having him run into a tree after his usefulness was over. I also wonder about John Denver, he ran out of gas while flying. I'm guessing they were not playing the game set up by the DS.

Sonny Bono was never important enough to whack for any reason. He was a middling song writer and singer with modest talents. Cher and Sonny were probably in a symbiotic relationship where they leaned on each other to make a sorta decent duo. Once Sonny died, however, somehow Cher used her own modest "talents" to become famous for being famous and became (IMHO) a B list actress and a C-list singer. Purely my opinion, but there you are.
