It’s late October and the centralized heating systems that heat most homes in North China have not been turned on.
I’m a little worried about this. I am living in North China and most things are pretty good here. All the supermarkets are fully stocked and no one is forcing me to get a vaccination with an experimental MRNA treatment.
But I get the feeling that I’m gonna have to break out all my winter clothes pretty soon to wear indoors 24/7. Tonight it will get below 50F/10C degrees outside.
But you know, last year the Australian government hurt the feelings of the Chinese people so the Chinese people are happy to avoid the use of Australian coal.

I am an American citizen working in China.
I used my US credit card to pay for a VPN. However, actually, believe it or not dot.win communities are not blocked in China. Don’t ask me to explain that.
Interesting. Never see any CCP on here. Be careful.
In China, the government accepts that foreigners need to use the VPNs and so even if there is some obscure law outlawing VPNs, I’ve never heard of a foreign person being arrested for using them. For foreign businesses, VPNs are vital for corporate communications and for my job I actually need one to do the research that I need to do.
If you’re worried about me reporting on being cold in my apartment, don’t worry Chinese people bitch about cold or hot apartments all the time. Lol…
