K9s or dogs operate off of four things. Food, water, air and sex. They constant are looking for that. We use food to train dogs, even a toy thrown is a food reward from the dogs point of view.
If I feed your dog for 2 weeks he will come say high to yku when you visit, but other wise he will want me. If I'm feeding him that is and have bonded which we will.
In other words, dogs don't love people, they Bond with them like a pack of dogs bond. When you start providing for the dog they'll take full advantage. We do however love them.
No more fiction
If you down voted this you may suffer from being anthropomorphic. In other words you project onto dogs non existent human attributes. This is the very first thing I learned when going through K9 school.
yea... you're 100% wrong on that one. I've got 4 big dogs and I can guarantee you they love myself and my wife.
Your kids don't get excited when you come home EVERYDAY for the rest of their lives.
Your kid wouldn't take on a bigger, stronger animal w/out even thinking about themselves if it meant your safety.
Your kid ( especially once they pass age 10 ) does NOT want to be wherever you are all the time, for the rest of their life.
Dogs are motivated by food yes, but dogs are the most loyal animal on the earth. Your dog will never lie to you , cheat you, use you, steal from you, abuse your trust, etc.
Just because a dog can't TELL you they love, certainly doesn't translate to they don't. You'll never know 100% true, unfaltering love until you get a dog.
Never trust anyone who doesn't love dogs. My dogs have always been the best judges of character and are never wrong. And if you wanna screw with me, my Mal will tear your ballsack off.
I agree. I would never have a dog....they should be free in the wild instead they are reduced to begging for food....we have made them slaves. They give you parasites and worms too

Dogs sacrifice their lives for their human masters all the time but ok.
