I just had a long talk with my grandma this morning cause she keeps trying to take this damn cholesterol medication that her doctor put her on after she had a stroke a year ago. I tried to explain to her, and she is awake to most of what is happening around us; more so than some of my other family members, but its SO ingrained in her to be able to trust her doctor and that pharma pills aren't bad, and she needs it.
Its REALLY frustrating. Animal products are AWESOME for the body, plant products, not good at all for the body. That is why they are pushing this vegan bullshit agenda, and trying to destroy all the meat.
The older you are, the higher your cholesterol should be, as well as your blood pressure. Obviously not overly high but should be higher than a younger person cause your body is old, works differently. When you pill up old people and take away vital nutrients they get all stupid and their brains don't work and they die.
Pisses me off to no ends too friend.
I have studied health for over 15 years and I know more about this shit than her doctor does, but she doesn't trust me over her doctor, cause I didn't go to school and get schooled by big pharma.

A lot of plants emit toxins when they are cut or damaged in some way, its actually a defense mechanism that many plants actually have.
I looked into this at one point cause I was doing a diet of basically 3 oz of meat, a lot of veggies, and I was doing a lot of juicing (thinking this was how I loose weight).
During that time I suffered from calcium kidney stones 3 times over the course of 1 year. My husband (boyfriend at the time) told me to stop drinking the juice cause that is what was causing them, I thought he was crazy till I did a little digging.
You also loose a ton of weight on just veggies cause your starving your body of any actual nutrients it needs. Thats why most real vegans look like skeletons. The ones that are fat eat nothing but sugar and sweets.
Just look up vegan videos on youtube, some of them are seriously scary looking.
But what do you think of eating a portion of meal with one third veggies like lettuce, tomatoes, beetroots, radish etc, all raw, and one third meat and one third carbs ?
Fiber is defined as that part of the plant that is ... NOT DIGESTIBLE.
All that fiber goes through you digestive tract and causes abrasions that are harmful.
You do not need ANY fiber in your diet. That is a myth.
There is no nutrition in lettuce or radishes. Tomatos might have a little, and beets have something in them that convert to nitric oxide, which is good.
