Could be, I still cant understand revelations. I know it was coded also so the romans couldnt see it was the bible. So strange visions + coded...i mean... help
Going back to your original comment though, it is first off a singular revelation, not a multiple revelations. The difference is very important. Secondly, this is what the Book of Revelation is all about.
"The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near."
Revelation 1:1-3 NIV
Also, one last VERY important piece of information. The Book of Revelation is the ONLY book of the 66 that make up the Bible to offer a blessing like this for one who reads it and takes it to heart. It is the only book to say, "Read me, I'm special!" It must be a very important book.
In fact, if it were "coded" in the way you seem to be implying it was, listen to this...
"I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll. He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen."
Revelation 22:18-21 NIV
With such a warning/threat to those who alter this book of Scripture, for ANY reason, do you actually believe He would allow corruption of His Word in a way in which the majority of His disciples throughout all of human history have been living their lives by a corrupted Scripture?!? I don't.
Its a historical theory as to why Rev is like that. Rome banned christianity and the Christians had to find a way around. My googling isnt working for me atm. But that one seems to tie in with Romes persecution

It is not coded in the way in which you seem to be using that verb. Rather,...

And yet there is a "code" that exists in the Bible but it is not a code designed, engineered, or been having been written by man. Rather,...
