My wife and I have been fighting tirelessly on the local political scene to oppose masks.
My kids have mask exemptions so they do not have to wear them at school.
However the school board has not budged (they’re bought and paid for by the teachers Union).
Hopefully that will change next week as some of the board members are up for election.
With that said, my wife is getting very frustrated because she feels many parents agree with her, but expect her and a few others to do all the work like speaking at board meetings, organizing, etc.
The fact is many are too lazy to get involved. Also, many are fearful to speak out and be demonized by the left (who are literal demons at this point).
I live in a very wealthy area, so many have simply fled to private schools in the last two years.
Your child is going to school with sexual deviants and perverts who look at and share disgusting porn. They do drugs and drink. They discuss things that'd make a sailor blush. They have no value system other than to worship money and fame. And they're downright rude and disrespectful.
Serious question- Were you home schooled? Did you or are you home schooling your kids?
My kids are based and well prepared for any bullshit they throw at us. For the most part, my school is very good and hasn't embraced the tranny or CTR stuff. They do push the global warming bullshit, which my kids laugh at.
I am considering private schools, but home schooling would not work for my family.
I admire you for being a warrior momma! I felt I should share with you that before 2010 my state funded public school vaccinated me without my parents knowledge or consent. I was under 18 at the time. I want to bless you and your kids in Jesus name and hopefully share that they’ve been pulling shit for a long time. Please don’t let them vaccinate your kids without your knowledge or approval. They will trick your kids.

First I would say that this battle will not be won by home schooling. Currently around 84-85% of kids attend public schools, so we need to fight over that turf and wrestle it back from the left. Home schooling isn't a realistic strategy.
In regards to my personal situation, we all have made our choices and I'm comfortable with mine.
I'm very aware of who my kids are friends with and have instilled great values in them.
I live in a very high income bubble, which gives families a lot of advantages. Here virtually no one is divorced, and virtually everyone is well parented, so thus far it's been fairly easy to engineer friendships with like minded kids and families. In our school district we don't see the spray painted hair kids with piercings all over.
My kids are all very athletic and value competition, so home schooling isn't an option they would be thrilled about. Two of my three are very social, and remote learning in the spring of 2020 was very depressing to them.
Long story short, we choose to fight, not run from this problem. The downside to running, is that eventually there will be no where to run to.

Our county is blue. It is a total and complete nightmare being on a complete island from people who you thought were your friends yet still can’t seem to see through all the fog. Covid literally only exists in public schools - everything else here is open including county buildings. We fought hard for that win by the way. Good luck, we are exhausted and demoralized.

They're away from you for hours and hours a day with people you don't know from Adam, taking their guidance and input more than yours.
