Like, we can’t even have a discussion without zealots feeling threatened. One thing I can tell you, though, which overcomes all arguments is that fallacy: contempt prior to investigation. It destroys the entire organized system if we see what Jesus was actually saying, ignore doctrine, and recognize that as the bride of Christ, we literally are Devine in spirit.
^^this. It’s hopeless. When you read I.e. gospels of Thomas, Mary M., Philip, even Judas, you will see what they were doing. You will see how well corroborated they were by other canonical texts but also how much they took out and WHY. The theme is undeniable, they took out anything empowering to humanity and left something that created a guilty, rulable public. Just look at who edited the cannon. Best I can say is, go look for yourself. I cannot tell you that any gospel is “legitimate or illegitimate.” See for yourself. I would also note that id be wary of the things we are told in defense of book burning, like the idea that it all corroborates at some high clip. Consider that most of the old testament was spent worshiping the creator God and that Jesus told the pharaseez they did not know his father and they did not know him…synagogue of Satan…god of this world is the devil. He knew.
Also, I would much rather rely on a first hand account of a follower than an apostolic vision, and that’s what half of the canonical New Testament is. Not to say there is no value, there, but to remove first hand accounts is inexcusable in most cases.
Jesus is son of the most high God. The source of all things. God’s spirit is seven-fold and the last of those is Sophia, the bride of Christ. Sophia created without her partner, and the result was the God of the Jews, Yahweh. Yahweh was cast into the void (out of the fullness) and created the material world, including man. However, without the Devine spark man was lifeless. This is where the biblical recon mission begins. Sophia volunteers to descend into man and this is who we are: the bride of Christ, literally, pieces of her being.
The issues arise because Yahweh also created many other rulers of the aspects of heaven (some say these are nameable demons, some say they are human flaws like desire). He also co-opted a sect of humanity who was willing to worship him…the Jews, to carry out the bidding on the ground. Sauce: the most high God would not claim, “I alone am god and there are no others beside me,” because he is God with his spirit and his Son beside him. Yahweh said this out of ignorance, but when enlightened as to the fact, rebelled and continued his aimless rule.
Jesus came to remind humanity of what really they are and what really makes them live. He came to tell us how to escape the material prison and then demonstrated on the cross.
Aside: I had been going about this w only a human understanding, being aware of the rulers but unable to understand where, what, why, and how they were. I assumed we had to reclaim all material things (and in trying, lost more material things) but truly, we must give them all back and place no value on what the God of this world (Satan, if you were already suspecting), his rulers, and the Jews tell us are valuable.
The gnostic texts explain over and over that the kingdom is within us. They outline methods for remembering and realizing the divinity within, while here, but more than anything, they explain how to escape (ascend) from Earth. Now, I’m still very much wrestling with many practical issues like, I.e. Jesus basically did suicide by police by maintaining his position knowing he would die; what do we do while we are here in the material prison, how to we care for our kids, etc.
I don’t disagree that biblical May allude to the return of Christ, but how we get there, no idea. I think about that picture in some Q drops where all those people are just standing there looking at the sky. I imagine that with basically all denominations (except Russian, Bulgarian, and Coptic orthodoxies) still maintaining that Yahweh is the most high God and father of Jesus it is unfathomable how we get to a point where enough of our spirits unite in such a way.
As far as the DNA, it’s encoded with the spirit of the Devine. How to protect it, IDK. Jesus says that if you do not achieve the assension while you are here, you will not escape when your material body dies.
I know most of this is considered heretical, but when I consider that the deception of Satan is great, the counsel of nicea fits the bill better that everyone being United and what was hidden being the deception. The deception is out in the open. It’s literally what 99% of Christians that believe they are sinful and just need to believe Jesus is the son of Yahweh to go to heaven. 1700+ centuries of deception find us used and abused and addicted to all manner of material things.

Look into the Nag Hamadi (“gnostic”) texts that defined early Christianity and were excluded, suppressed, and destroyed at the council of Nicea. They should answer most of your questions. It’s a return of humanity to Christ consciousness. We are spiritual beings entombed in material bodies, enslaved by the rulers of this world. Those rulers must be thrown off.
