In Peter Jackson's interpretation of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, there is a speech by Sam Gamgee that is rather fitting for the present shadow that is looming over all the Earth.
Near the end of the film, when Osgiliath is under siege of the Nazgul, Frodo turns to Sam and says "I can't do this"
The speech that Sam gives to Frodo is a speech that I think every Patriot needs to hear right now.
Sam says to Frodo:
It's all wrong. By rights, we shouldn't even be here. But we are.
Its like in the great stories Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered.
Full of darkness and danger they were, and sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because hw could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad happened?
But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass.
A new day will come, and when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer.
Those were the stories that stayed with you; that meant something, even if you were too small to understand why.
But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand.
I know now.
Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back only they didn’t. Because they were holding on to something.
Frodo then turns to Sam and asked him:
What are we holding on to, Sam?
To which Sam replies:
That there’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it’s worth fighting for.
Like Frodo and Sam, we all have opportunities to turn back each day. Any day any one of you on this forum could give in, get the vaccine, and fall in line with the demands of the CDC, WHO, FDA, and the corrupt governments of the world. Only you haven't, and you won't, because like Sam, you know that there is still some good in this world, and you are going to continue to fight for that good until your dying breath.
The fight for freedom may seem difficult now, but we know that there is a light at the end of this tunnel brighter than any that came before us. President Trump told us himself that THE BEST HAS YET TO COME.
We must realize that at the end of this battle we will have defeated the CDC, WHO, FDA, FBI, CIA, NSA, FED, along with every corrupt government and central bank of the world. Just as Sauron's tower fell when Frodo cast the ring into the fires of Mount Doom, so too shall these towers of evil fall upon our Great Awakening.
Keep going Patriots! Keep fighting the good fight! Every day you press on is a day of victory for The Great Awakening.
Very appropriate words to remember. Thank you. Lord of the Rings is so inspiring for me.
same here fren, so many great speeches and moments in the movies its hard to pick one. personally I like Aragorn's speech in front of the black gate the most.
"My brothers! I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me!
A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship.
But it is not this day.
An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the age of Men comes crashing down!
But it is not this day! This day we fight!
By all that you hold dear, on this good earth, I bid you stand! Men of the west!"
It’s funny because I was never into Lord of the Rings.
Then a year or so ago I started getting this feeling I needed to watch the trilogy. Couldn’t explain why, just something in me told me I had to watch it all of a sudden. I was surprised.
I watched the first one. Then the second the next day. Then the third the day after.
It was a Sunday.
“Return of the King”
It’s so weird to me I never ever wanted to watch these movies and even thought negatively towards them but then got the urge to sit through all 11.5 hours of them in one weekend.
I know it sounds weird but I’m pretty sure it was for a reason.
Watching LOTR has been part of my Christmas tradition for years now. Quite possibly the last great epic film to ever come from Hollywood.
Wow, that happened to me just a few months ago.
