Feels like believing the numbers when you agree with them and calling them fake when you don’t. The poll lists the affiliations of each pollee. 37 lean Dem, 39 Republican, the rest Independent or Other. Where is the oversampling?
The 71% number isn’t even directly referring to Biden. It asked if “the country was on the right track”, but it seems like the majority almost always answers “no” to that question. Last July it was at 73%.
It's more like noting the narrative shift and considering what it means. Joe is horrible and the FJB chants at sports venues around the country show that Joe's horribleness is universally understood. The media narrative is shifting to reflect that. I think this is a media organization trying to print something that won't be instantly dismissed as ridiculous and fraudulent propaganda. As time goes on, the polls and reporting will reflect this narrative shift more and more.
With Trump we saw the narrative drive sentiment which then drove events. With Joe we see events drive sentiment which then drives the narrative.
Wait do we believe polls now?
I think the point of this post is that Biden is doing so badly that they can't even skew the numbers in his favor by oversampling Democrats.
So if it's this low with it skewed to favor him, then it has to be even lower than what they're reporting.

Sorry, thought we welcomed skepticism here.
