I travel a fair amount for work. My AA flight was cancelled this morning and the flight they rescheduled me on put me at my destination 30 hours later. I just grabbed a different airline. To all you American employees, keep it up! I was happy to see it, nobody should be treated that way!

Ya, i fly actually quite a bit, and used to fly internationally a lot. It doesnt manke me someone important and i appreciate the feat that flying. I've slept in the Boston airport specifically over a hand full of times waiting for storms across the atlantic settle. delays/cancellations dont bother me, though im amazed at how often its the people who just fly occassionally on the cheapest fares always screaming at the front desk like its somehow the lady (or any human's) fault for the storms. I'm an engineer that works in medical / clinical trials and I'm unvaxxed gotten medical exemptions from a number of hospitals, denials by some, and still pending on the rest. I am in 100% full support of anyone fighting the mandate. Heck I'd have quit my job over this accept we really do help people, so i stay.
My daughter is new to the airline business and was hired as an Industrial Engineer by one to help improve the airline’s operations. She watched the American gate agents get berated Thursday evening. “They do not get paid enough!” was her comment.
Loss of civility and courtesy along with parents creating a bunch of narcissists has made the airline industry a tough place to work.
Good on you for going with the flow and for fighting the good fight yourself!
Funny that - mine also!
I'm supposed to get on an American flight a week from today. I wonder if it'll actually go anywhere?
You’re fighting too though. We all in this.
Thanks Fren!
