Why is this stickied? It's clearly a slip-up. But it's also a Freudian slip, too. Why? Because they know. They all know he's illegitimate.
Reminds me of one of my favourite jokes (from some comedian I saw, once): "Does everyone know what a Freudian slip is? It's when you say one thing, but really mean something else. This morning, at breakfast, I meant to say to my wife, 'Please pass the butter?' but instead, I accidentally said, 'You've ruined my life you fucking bitch!'"
