Seriously. I'll allow the Former President Biden, although that's a pretty bad slip. But the 'Occupant of this house' comment? This is kind of blowing my mind.
Opposite for me.
"We're also waiting to hear from the occupant of THIS building, the White House" suggests she was already talking about buildings, and this is just a segue using that word
It's when she calls him "FORMER President" that my eyebrows sailed off the top of my skull.
News anchors are legitimately reading from a teleprompter all day every day.
Some evil bastard on our side typed it into the script and the poor lady read it verbatim
This, the only time they improvise is when they are either one, interviewing a live guest - and even then her questions would be scripted, and - or - a high speed police chase when the desk jockeys are trying their best to keep up with the action. We all know they are terrible at play-by-play commentating during chases.
