How about stop trying to defend the indefensible after being outed with straw-man BS and opinion that wasn't even in the discussion? Stay on point.
Hey, I said from the outset that it was unpopular opinion.
Not everybody thinks what Kyle did was great. Get over it.
And again, he had a right to defend himself. But in my opinion he should not have been there in the first place.
I don't care if he washed graffiti.
I don't care if he was protecting property that wasn't his.
I don't want my kids going to riots with weapons and being in this situation. That's what I never liked about the making of Kyle into some kind of hero.
Wars throughout History have been fought by kids much younger than Kyle. If you do not think we are in a War, I've got some shocking news for you.
What you "want" does not meet the reality of where we are. Kyle is being lauded as a Hero for the very fact he had balls enough to be there in the first place where Adults would shy away from. He clearly had firearm discipline, was there in good faith because his conscience demanded it, and was victor in a situation most would shit their pants in.
Kyle is a Hero. You dont have to like it, but you do have deal with it.
