Today the FBI raids PV, the diary is reported (by MSM) as stolen, and the PV employee is being called a whistleblower against PV. If the diary was stolen and PV had published it, it would be quite damning. By not publishing, PV seems to have no motivation to steal, and mostly evades the accusation. But the FBI raid, coupled with an employee (likely undercover agent) that turned against them and a leak to the NYT about it seems to be a drama-filled smear campaign that they'll have to fight regardless.
