I rewatched it After Midnight, and I deduced it was just editing to help with flubbing his lines, smooth presentation, etc. So I was kind of trolling when I already knew the answer here.

Glad it stuck out to you as well though. It was kind of a strangely edited video. Lighting was weird too.
