I don't know about others here, but if I can speak for myself it's less that I don't agree with the concept, but more that I'm not willing to commit to any model 100%.
I fully believe that we have been lied to about many of the cornerstones of our reality, and I do believe that we are being misled about our planet in a massive way. A flat earth is pretty low on my list of possibilities, but it's still on the list.
It seems foolish to me to lean into any belief 100% with no room for error. I've had to learn to analyze my beliefs based on a spectrum of evidence ranked by quality of said evidence.
In my current reality, with my current understanding of physics and mathematics, my scale is tilting more in favor of a round Earth than a flat earth, maybe 95/5 respectively. I'm still leaving room for the entirety of our matrix to be a construct designed to separate us from the reality of our surroundings, but until that point begins to crystallize, a flat earth doesn't seem like the most likely model.
A hollow earth, on the other hand, is something that intrigues me. I still haven't seen enough evidence to subscribe to that model, but I'm probably closer to a 65/35 current model/hollow earth model vs the 95/5 round earth model/flat earth model.
I'm sure we'll all be appropriately humbled once the verifiable truth is widely known, and the best I can do for now is realize that much of my foundational knowledge has the potential to have been a lie, and begin to reassess my knowledge using the spectrum model I mentioned above. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Good for you, that's a good place to be. For the record, we don't necessarily claim that it's "flat" per se, but rather, that we're DEFINITELY NOT standing on a spinning ball going 1000 MPH, while simultaneously circling around the sun at 66,000 MPH, while simultaneously circling the Milky Way galaxy at 500,000 MPH, while simultaneously rocketing through the universe at 3-4Million MPH following the initial explosion of the Big Bang moment. All of these claims are verifiable ludicrous and utterly impossible.
Take your time and do your research when you feel inspired. You'll find the physics don't work, and within every mathematical equation you think is irrefutable, you'll find an ASSUMPTION has been made about something to "make it work". Like the ASSUMPTION that Venus is roughly the same size as Earth. Our astrophysicists did just this to calculate the size of the sun and our distance form it. But who's to say that Venus isn't the size of a basketball? Nobody has been there, therefore, nobody knows.
And agreed, it's a most humbling experience when you finally realize how badly you've been duped. Both embarrassing and funny simultaneously when you come to realize how UTTERLY RIDICULOUS the globe model really is.
Good luck!
P.S. Add to the above, that "gravity" doesn't exist --- as a "force" that is. The "effect" is obvious and real, but the "cause" has never been identified, even to this day. Physicists literally have ZERO IDEA as to what gravity is. A particle? A field? A wave? Crickets. Why? Because there's no such FORCE known as "gravity". This alone utterly destroys the globe model. Keep in mind, the astrophysicists had to INVENT "dark matter" and "dark energy", comprising 95% of all the "stuff" that makes up the "universe" to keep the globe/gravity lie alive. Gravity is nothing but a theory. Dark energy is nothing but a theory. Dark matter is nothing but a theory. Take away the theories, and the truth becomes self-evident!
