Hello Friends,
There’s a good chance I’ll be exposed to Covid this weekend—long story. I have the horse paste. What’s a good dosage in teaspoons for a 120 pound woman for prevention?
I’ve looked everywhere. Duck Duck Go is no longer a helpful tool.
Thank you in advance
1 cc per 100 lbs. Body weight. 1 cc = 1 ml
I'm 135 and have been taking 3 notches every 3 weeks. Went on vacation to Florida when COVID was at its peak and never caught it.
Read the directions on the box.
Not a horse
The directions are not written in Equestrian for horses to read ;)
Kidding aside, it goes by body weight; for this purpose, human and horse have equivalent mammalian physiology so follow directions for an equid of your weight
Simple. 50lbs per 1 notch. Little more or little less won't hurt either. It's arguably literally the safest medicine ever produced. I let my family use the human pills and to keep them stocked, I use the paste regularly and not one issue.
I take it once a week at this point prophylactically. I also take 500mg Quercetin, 25mg Zinc, 10k IU D3, and 3k Vit C (1k at a time 3x each day) daily too.
Buy an empty syringe to put this in yogurt or something... With measurements from the Patriot below
a little more than 2 turns. Each notch is for a 50lb horse.
The tube or applicator tube, itself should have markings for dosage based on weight in 250 lb graduations.
While its not scientific you can roughly gauge how much to use using these marks.
About half of a 250lb dose, should be about right for her. A little more will not hurt. It would take a lot of "taking too much" to have ill effect.
Post exposure dose is 0.4 mg per kg, or approx 0.18 mg of IVM per lb of horse. So 120 * 0.18 = 22 mg of IVM. If paste is 1.87%, then 760 mg of paste, or 0.76 g. As mentioned previously, should be a pea-sized dollop.

Pea-sized dallop will do.
Trust the GreatAwakening doctors, but don't worry too much as it’s pretty safe even in higher dosages.
I've just been taking the exact dose for my weight and it has worked. I think 1.5x your weight is the correct amount but don't take my word on that.
