So I have no talent. I spend 15 hours producing a piece of crap. A gifted student spends 2 hours making a product that is orders of magnitude better than mine. I do not deserve a higher grade because I had to try harder; grades are based on output, not effort. If that were the case the dumbest students would receive the highest grade. If medical schools were graded that way, I would NOT want the student with the highest grades taking care of me.
Valid observation....
Unbelievable that this person gets a salary to make up this kind of garbage
Truth....
This is the exact opposite of "work smarter, not harder"
Truth....
Exactly....
Exactly....
So you mean you want to pass people whonare illiterate? So minorities will go to jobs with degrees Nd they won't even be able to communicate with people who are educated. I've seen this enough already. Illiterate getting positions making 80k and they can barely read and the eventually lose the jobs after months of handwringng by hr before they're fired and they usually leave a mess.
So hr will be weeding out those uneducated thatbykubprofessors refused to hold to standard.
Good way to try to hide you can't teach Nd the folks before you couldn't teach. Teaching is dead.
Valid observation...
Enjoy your day Veteran!
He should start digging his way to China ... and we can all grade him on his work.
Howls...
FTA: The method involves assigning grades based on the “labor” students put into their assignments, rather than the grammar, style and quality of their work.
What a doofus. Grammar, style and work quality are part of the labor. His measuring system sounds like a 'feels right' grade with no basis in reality.
Like much of the "higher education" system....
Lol at an English professor tweeting out "languaging," as if it were a word. They are creating a newspeak for the dumbasses of the next generation. They know how badly we've failed as parents, and see their chance.
This is the 4th generation that has gone through that "indoctrination system" so their parenting skills are suspect to say the least.....
