This! This right here! Their rules of engagement are so fucked up all the time it’s basically once we take casualties then count to 10 and then you can shoot over their head. Ugggghhh
The security detail can be overwhelmed by numbers if they don't have air support. If they didn't have the support they needed, they could have been navy seals and still gotten overran. Our ground forces are really good at staying alive and holding ground until the cavalry arrives. But if the cavalry ain't coming, and they have to hold on, they will eventually get taken out.
The way to beat our soldiers in an assault is to cut off their air support and then shoot anybody carrying an ammo box. But it's better to just force them to fight a war of attrition, because the way they fight is stupid for an insurgency. They always do their raids at 2-3 am in the morning, you can set your watch by it. They always have their guys running on like 2 hours of sleep and they're doing stupid shit like 24 hour shifts before sending you out on a mission with no rest in between. Just cut off their ammo resupply and you can beat them pretty easy. Army hand to hand combatatives are a joke.
There was a Marine detachment. My question is: What were their rules of engagement as issued by the "administration"?

Soft dildos only

Hand to hand... isn't
I'll headbutt the fuck out your face with my helmet and night vision mount. I know, I've seen me do it.
Well it worked that one time.
Eventually is a long time, tbh. Mogadishu, Benghazi, Turki Village.
We do just fine without air support, tbh.
All depends on how much ammo y'all can carry on you. If I remember correctly Mogadishu involved about 10 miles of Navy seals running for their lives.
5 miles. Rangers. Running alongside armored vehicles, not for their lives.
This. I didn’t think we were keeping a Yemeni consulate site because of the constant conflict in the area.
It would be a noble gesture for Biden to offer himself in exchange for the hostages and let them do whatever they deem he deserves.
