I like this take.
This is the term that I was trying to name: Discovery! Thank you. There is another post with this headline. Most of the posts were Negative Nellies. They didn't get the fact that now this opens up the Discovery process...
The fact that they didn't say what he was indicted for tells you what's most important. Its something utterly stupid and/or a technicality. He didn't pay 3k in taxes type BS. The type of thing that normally gets you a fine, but for him sense its political they are going to try to send him to club fed for 12 months... just cause they can.
Bleh... I finally saw some context to this. I was half right. This is just stupid congressional subpoena idiocy. Boring...
Oh that's an interesting thought.....
Can you elaborate? I don’t understand what you mean by that. Thanks
Indicting someone isn't a one way street. By indicting them you invite them to bring their evidence.
I don't know what evidence Bannon would have, but it's a thing I guess.
It also means that legally the defendant is entitled to any exculpatory evidence that may exist.
Thanks. Makes sense now.
So they could end up being in a bad situation more so than Bannon. Nice.
