Sickening !

The prevalence of "self-worship" is one of the signs of the last days, when Christ's second coming is nearing. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 NKJV:

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

It is one of Satan's four fronts to receive indirect worship is to get the man to worship himself. You can imagine whatnot looks like when a person worships themselves.

Yourself, others, man made religion and the environment. Basically what Satan uses to get indirect worship without the people even realizing what theybare doing.

We are "God seeking" creatures, with free will. It is our ignorance of God that leads us to seek "god" in ourselves or in lesser entities. GETTING TO KNOW GOD is among our highest privileges (He really wants us to know Him - intimately) and leads to right relationship with our Creator (the One who knows us - thoroughly - and LOVES us, anyway).

"O Created one, what is the best in life?"

I really enjoy reading articles like this, full of truth, reverance, and encouragement. God is worthy to be praised and a MUCH better director of my life.
