Somebody started buying up a bunch of old , Wyoming, uranium claims a few years back. This has been in the works for years. Well at least the folks who run the coal fired power plant might get to keep their jobs.

So it sounds like it is a liquid sodium cooled reactor. The fuel type is not mentioned, so assuming Uranium. This may be Chernobyl like. Thorium would be a better solution. Not a fan of the liquid sodium cooling.

I worked on a natural gas pipeline in that area several years back. Lots of natural gas in the area, which leads me to wonder why they would want a nuclear reactor near where they are pumping so much NG right out of the ground.
