It has always been about the local level action. The executive branch from Pres all the way down to mayor is only as empowered as the people allow. The top-down back asswards way things have happened is literally dictatorship
This is the correct analysis. We have to get the citizens involved. We can't rely on big brother government to come to our rescue. It's the parents that have to put their feet to the fire.
The South Dakota governor took this stance as well, until the mandate came out and then she sued Biden. Isn't that the Dems tactic though? To shuck responsibility all the way down to the local level or the employer?
The Dems use corruption and coercion at the local level to push their evil agenda.
This can be easily overcome when people rise up and fight back - as long as the Feds dont interfere and terrorise them, or weaponise legal system against them.
That is where Youngkin comes in - how well will he protect the local communities from this, and allow the people's choices to play out with no nefarious interference.
No, to push responsibty where it belongs. On the citizens.
it's too convenient for most transit on their asses and wait for rescue.
Why sit we Here until we die?
We the people have to fix the local shit or suffer for being beta bitches.
So moms and dads, get out there and make your voices heard!
Concur.. but like most republicans.. he pretty much has not communicated it
I hope people have been hearing to Flynn:
Think Youngkin may have just made that concept a "thing"
Exactly. No mandates is good enough for now, however if the citizens demand he take action well... First thing is first the citizens need to try and take back control and go from there.
And when people rise up at the local levels without interference from Fed or State, they will make sure these mandates will be gone in each locality. The problem is when FBI sends their dogs after these parents.
I think Youngkin is doing this the right way. Hopefully he can protect these people in local communities from the FBI dogs.
Except the very reason we have a top is to protect INALIENABLE RIGHTS. Democracy will never protect the rights of the individual. The governor should absolutely intervene if cities and localities are enforcing UNCONSTITUTIONAL action, as should the federal government intervene if a state is violating an individual’s constitutional rights.
