Businesses have that right for testing which means there is not much the governor can do.
But I do know for a fact that some businesses that are mandating testing are not allowing medical/religious exemptions which is a gross violation of US law.
I agree and I think more can be done. I think what can be done is that it would be discriminatory to force the unvaxxed with testing while the vaxxed are not required testing.
That is something the governor can do. But if a company wants to test everyone that is basically their own demise long term. Current employees vaxxed or not vaxxed are fed up and it is harder to bring in new recruits.
That is already happening with the jabbed calling out sick more often.
The nose swabs should be a voluntary public health department initiative and the private employers should have nothing to do with it IMO. Most likely private employers will argue that they do drug testing but weekly/biweekly swabs is no where near the level of a random drug test or a drug test before starting a job.
The measure also includes fines for businesses that fire a worker without allowing the exemptions.
Wonder if this is retroactive to those that were fired prior to law?
This is why best lawyers advise, is to not quite, but be fired, and document everything.
“Let’s call this exactly what it is, and this is the governor’s direct defiance of the president and the federal government, that is the only reason we’re here right now,” Jones said.
I wonder if Jones thinks that when the court rules Biden's mandates are unconstitutional, that the court is in direct defiance of the president and the federal government?
I think that is a fair grade. It could have done more but I think this is a start to see how this will work out. I am sure more may follow too.

Yes it is a good start for sure and more can be done.
That is the funniest ever
So not only were mandates not laws before but now they're super not laws.
I wonder if the Biden admin is going to declare that Florida is no longer a State, but is now a Militia?
I'm really considering getting the F out of Ireland and moving to Florida or something.
He's not there yet but he is vying for a top master troller like PDJT.😁
Lived there for a while, fun town.
I kind of like the original version too!
