Once they're brainwashed into the system, something remarkable has to happen for that programming to momentarily break. That cannot be predicted and the more you try to convince someone their whole paradigm is wrong, they will double down to prove you wrong.

Another family member hates politics and hates strife of any kind but she is mostly convinced that I'm right about the vaccine and how bizarre the government's behavior has been of late. She's a nurse and was shocked that politicians would get between doctors and their patients and tell them they could prescribe HCQ or Ivermectin. It made no sense to her, since both medications are not dangerous at all.
A foothold, even a small one, is all you need. Keep at it. Bring them back to reason and critical thought processes. It is an almost extinct skill these days.
