Colonoscopies are almost never performed w/o sedation. Some people take very mild sedation that can be performed outpatient in a mid-level clinic and with very quick acting and body-clearing sedation medications, and some require heavier sedation that have to be performed in an actual hospital, by an actual anesthesiologist. Both involve losing consciousness and memory. I would imagine it is very uncomfortable, and remember being very impressed that Trump both distrusted this country so much, and also loved this country that much.
I know last time I had one done, they said I kept waking up, and they gave me enough to knock out a horse. (Red hair?? There’s some people who say that’s why. I’ve even had an anesthesiologist bring it up in consult before a surgery before.) They said next time I would have to get propofol in the actual hospital, and not just what the other lesser drugs are.
Propofol is GREAT. I've had it a half dozen times now for various procedures, and each time I wake up completely alert and feeling like I slept for weeks. I completely understand why MJ abused it. If I could get it once a month I absolutely would. I feel like I've caught up on all my missed sleep every time.
I got sick in Europe and they gave me an endoscopy with no sedation or anything. It was a horrible experience. It is standard practice around Europe. We sure have critical issues with our health care industry but on this point the US doctors are better. They told me that they considered an endoscopy with no sedation a completely barbaric practice.
depends on the clinic. When I had mine done, I was awake and aware the entire time. we talked about the inside of my butt and sang Brittney Spears songs together. The anti pain gas they use messes with your memory though, so I don't remember between the second turn and getting wheeled out of the room after it was over.
Interesting, you have material on Trump avoiding this? I wasn't sure this was a normal thing

Seriously, I joke but what an honorable play
Propofol works on me like it did on Michael Jackson, except they wake me up after.
Lawl. Yea, I prefer to wake up, too!

Anesthetist - Count backwards from 10.
Me - 10...9...
Anesthetist - Bye bye.
Me - Are we gonna do this or what?
Nurse - We're done already lol.

I wouldn’t want to be awake for that, but our guys here literally do it on assembly lines, and that’s not humane, either.

Taking one up the ass while wide awake to refrain from transferring power to the traitors, that's a people's president right there!
