Annual medical checkups are correlated with higher mortality overall. Main reason is overdiagnosis and overtreatment. (Spellcheck didn't like overtreatment; changed it to overpayment which is also true, but a different problem.) I'm sure colonoscopies play their part in that equation.
Yep. Friend was having issues with pooping a lot of times a day and not getting much out per sitting. Had the booty camera thing done and they removed polyps which solved his situation. When I had an emergency surgery recently I found out having black stool can mean pooping blood because it turns black while it waits to get expelled. I keep an eye on that shit now kek.
They have swallowable cameras now. More expensive, and come with a few downsides, but IMO worth it. Thankfully I have a couple more years before I need one.

You are quite correct there.

Agree. All this pressure for "screening" tests. Just Big Medicine seeking out new customers.
My uncle died after having one because they perforated his colon. Massive infection. Died.
I think the camera up his arse is a prank because he has to have a zoom meeting with Xi.
Like when it all came out that Xi made the biden administration all take anal swabs for COVID.
