In Tae Kwon Do it can also represent "heaven." It's used at the beginning of one of the patterns, although granted it's positioned above the head, not in front.
All Symbols have multiple meanings. that's what makes its a symbol... Go to Any Ju Jitsu (Dojo?) anywhere, and you'll see Pedo Triangle spirals all over the place, on all the clothing etc.
Hey I think this guy might be on top something, I think she's Hindu, so in Hindu culture there are different symbols that the west misinterpret, i.e. the swastika. And Tae Kwon Do is south east Asian culture but it mixes in with Indian culture which Tulsa is. Sure some won't agree with this but I'm just trying to make sure we don't get caught up in group think and misinterpret something without thinking it through properly. Plus she was happy about kyle and is generally anti Clinton faction, she also resigned from #2 in the DNC because of its corruption which should be noted. Again we are critical thinkers here and don't want us to be caught in group think.

Stop. Hitler, Himmler, and the rest of the German Occult Cabal knew damn well what the Swastika represented. In fact, much of German science - to the glee of India - subscribed to the theory of Aryan Origin; meaning, they believe "human" life as we know it originated in Northern India and Bactria. Naturally, they respected those whom they considered fellow Aryans, and studied their culture, finding similarities with their own.
They also believed that the caste system of India reflected the racial pedigree of Indian society; the highest castes were, ultimately, more "Aryan" than those beneath them. Kamala Harris, for instance, descends from the "Brahmin" caste, or in other words, the "priestly" class, one of greatest respect due to the Brahmin caste's obligation to study topics of religion and mysticism.
Harris comes from the same caste as Sundar Pichai and Indra Nooyi. Is it any coincidence that our Vice-Resident, the current Google CEO, and the former CEO of Pepsi (poison) and now Boardmember of Amazon and (soon) Philips.
AFTER writing the above, I searched out a simple confirmation article for you that gives you a quick and easy look into exactly what I'm talking about. Here it is:
There is also a corresponding hand-sign for "earth." The left hand forms a "C" shape and the right hand makes a fist. You put the two hands together, not touching, with the fist just inside the "C". I suppose this is to represent the atmosphere surrounding the earth. This is then placed at the height of the solar plexus, just in front of the body.
You made me think of something, so I did a little digging. The very first TKO pattern is Chon-ji, which means "heaven and earth." Here's what one website has to say about it:
"The literal meaning of Chon-Ji is “Heaven and Earth,” which in Asia symbolizes the creation of earth and the beginning of history. Chon-Ji, or the “heavenly” lake, is a name also given to a large lake in a crater on Paektu Mountain, which is an extinct volcano that is said to have been the first home of the legendary founder of Korea, Dan-Gun.
Chon-Ji is appropriately named because creation is the beginning of all things and this pattern establishes a good foundation for all the remaining patterns.
Chon-Ji consists of two similar parts – one part representing heaven – one part representing earth.
The stances and techniques in this pattern are the basic movements required for mastering all of the 24 patterns."
"...the “heavenly” lake, is a name also given to a large lake in a crater on Paektu Mountain, which is an extinct volcano that is said to have been the first home of the legendary founder of Korea, Dan-Gun."
Paektu is that mountain in North Korea that Kim Jong-Un is often seen at. Could Tulsi be hinting to focus on North Korea??? It's a long-shot, but...
Just to add a little context, both of these hand-signs are used at the very beginning of the pattern. You first make the sign for heaven, then you transition into the sign for earth. It's showing respect for both heaven and earth.

We thus establish that no, the west was not misinterpreting nor ignorant of Indian tradition and symbolism, such as the Swastika.

Thank you for being super intelligent fellow pede! U actually made me go research this to verify and I think you're right again

Here may be the key to understanding:
"...the “heavenly” lake, is a name also given to a large lake in a crater on Paektu Mountain, which is an extinct volcano that is said to have been the first home of the legendary founder of Korea, Dan-Gun."

And, you know sometimes words have two meanings...
