ATL airport announces it was an accidental discharge but witnesses claim to have heard at least 3 shots.

We have no evidence that this is related simply because two events happened to occur in the same airport. It'd be different if Q mentioned something related to or resembling, "accidental discharge." Perhaps I'm overlooking something or don't have all of the info, but there's nothing related to, "accidental discharge" in that post.

So the ATL -> IAD is the airport codes then? As in ATL being Atlanta, and IAD being the USA airfield code for Washington, Dulles. The international code (ICAO) is KIAD.

Find the flight? Just saying.
