Government never has our best interests at heart. Perhaps where people in countries everywhere are rising up.

he stopped the hyper inflation created by the central banks that was basically starving 95% of germans....but anti semtism and stuff
Hitler also attacked and invaded other nations, started WW2 (~ 70 million dead; Germany itself in ruins), arrested dissidents and usually executed them, put millions of people in camps (not just Jews . . . as time went on, more and more groups were targeted including Catholics, union members, gypsies, and of course anyone who had a bad word to say about what was going on). Speaking of WW2, he invaded RUSSIA, which he had a pact with. The invasion started in June but dragged on into Winter, turning into an epic disaster. WTF.
"Secretly, an addendum had been added to the Pact. According to the addendum, Poland and the whole of Eastern Europe would be divided between Germany and the Soviet Union. The Soviets received Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, and Poland east of a line formed by the Vistula and San rivers.
"But Hitler’s share of the spoils was not enough for him. The Führer was determined to take over the Soviet Union as soon as he obtained control of Europe, regardless of his pact with Stalin."
Yes, Hitler's corporatism got the economy going again (and made it ever-more corrupt, as corporatism always does -- check out Big Pharma here in the US). A better economy (than the shattered one he inherited) was a good thing, and you can say the SAME THING about the post-Mao economy in China under Deng etc.
The point is, it is possible to be a psychopathic, mass-murdering dictator AND a sufficiently laissez-faire head of state to bring an economy back -- at the same time.
not even disagreeing with you. never said he was a good guy. they did nasty things to innocent people. i just hate the fact that hollywood/media only talk about Hitler, but never the Bolsheviks or the banks that funded them...
I feel the same way, and it's not just that. Nazi Germany is the ONLY example of government falling into a tyranny that mass-murdered its own citizens that [they] will talk about. The NYT and the rest of the media covered up the genocidal crimes of the Soviet Union and of Mao's China, and of pretty much every Communist nation for that matter. It's like the public is supposed to think this crap only happened once, and that Hitler was the one bad guy who did it.
agreed....and he took some notes from the Armenian holocausts which is rarely, if ever, talked about
