In North Texas - starting to feel like a third world country here. 4 outages on separate days all lasted over an hour. Is it just my local infrastructure and is ERCOT just going to shit or are we being attacked?

Every time power goes out of internet goes out... it's an opportunity to get preps in order. Use each as an opportunity to go over emergency food supplies... Or weapons and ammo, or prep supplies. The more the system goes down, the more prepared you will be.
Call the power company. They may be cutting off intentionally to make upgrades. Especially after the embarassment of last february's freeze.
No outages in rural SW Missouri. Electric through a local coop, which I've been told is less likely to be impacted unless there's a major cascade.
Same here. Coop as well I'm in ND so probably same company lol.
Where are you in SW MO? I am in Marshfield.
Hey, MODan! I'm NW of Everton, about 40 miles NW of Springfield.
Not power but internet has been sketchy for six weeks, more so this week up to an hour a couple of times a day
ERCOT along with federal regulations has not properly maintained our electrical grid for more than a decade and certainly has not worked to build new power plants that have reliability in freezing weather. The February 2021 debacle was only the first year event. This coming year, should the temps get at or below freezing for more than a couple days will result in another forced outage. You may or may not know this, but last I checked, ERCOT's board level position holders don't even bother living in our state. So it's all academic if our power goes out.
Somewhere in rural Oregon here, and we're good -- even though power is usually iffy when we have wind. Or snow. Or rain, sometimes.
We have had more power outages over the last year than we have in the previous 8 years combined. It has become such a nuisance that I purchased solar panels for a bit of a backup. That worked out so well and was so easy, that I am considering getting a whole house system.
I have a whole house solar system with 4 battterys that weigh 1000Lb each. Did not have any power problems with the Feb freeze, just frozen pipes. Just got in a vertical windmill, and need to install it, and may get another one if this one is ok.
Internet outages yes.
No problems in Colorado
We've been good in east Texas. I'm watching those pricks too.
Texas panhandle,no electric, but frequent short internet pauses.Usually less than 10 minutes.
